A day of total rest yesterday.
Today, a leisurely stroll along the front, past the cemetery
towards Cupid’s Cay, the oldest settlement on the Island.
Our local neighbourhood . . .
The corniche bustling with tourist activity.
Love the gnarly trees . . .
And a bit of excitement. Peering over the edge, Mar
spotted a rather large creature close by the shore. Turns out to be a shark,
mooching along the shore. Graceful moves, just glad we weren’t paddling then.
Figure it must have been about 1.5 meters in length.
28 Celsius, feels like 31, winds gusting to 44kph. Couldn’t
be better.
Our second floor pad, home for the next couple of weeks.
