Whether you're familiar with the beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park, Wasaga Beach, Southend on Sea or Europe in general, seems to me there is nothing that can rival this!

The morning walk today.
Taking a new rout, out to a favorite local fishing spot on Cupid Cay.
Robert, white shirt, told us he's from a family of 17 children, of whom only 12 survived.
Local folk here are open and friendly, not jaded by hoards or tourists in other Caribbean islands. That one of the huge attractions that lure us back here each winter.
And our resident gecko stayed still long enough this morning for this portrait!

Some random images of our new neighborhood
The days slip by, and we adapt comfortable to our new environment.
Governors Harbour has certain permanent elements. Feral chickens. Noisy, and everywhere. But you kind of get used to it, as it blends into the general background noise 'downtown'. There was a rumor a few years ago that one of the local ex-pats living hear had declared a bounty on them. Clearly that had no effect.
The cats, on the other hand, are not noisy. Simply cute little scroungers.
Still doing the daily Wordal. No cappuccino, just 'normal' coffee. But . . . . Home made cranberry scones!
And the morning walks . . . always a pleasure to be away from snow and sleet.
