Kids will go back to school after this coming Labour Day weekend, and shortly after, we'll be heading down to Toronto to catch a flight for London.
It's Mars' birthday next week, and a trip planned with a surprise packed itinerary.
Always a bit of a wrench to leave this time of year, as the garden has matured over the summer, and it's at the stage of minimal maintenance. So really time to pause and enjoy the fruits of our toil. The calla lilies have been particularly spectacular this year, almost as high as the plum tree.
However, the weather is also good the other side of the Atlantic this time of year, and the decision made. Places to go, people to see.
